This is the Bestseller of All Time

The Greatest Story ever told starts like this:

I sat on death row.
But not just me; you did too.
A lying, cheating, selfish, prideful, adulterer who deserved the punishment the Judge was ready to sentence us to.
Until Someone stepped in.
One who was perfect in every way. Who never committed any wrongdoing.
Yet He willingly accepted the death sentence on my behalf.
The Judge struck the gavel.
But it wasn’t me who was led away to be beaten and killed.
He took it for me.
So I wouldn’t have to endure His wrath. So I could experience His love for me instead. And be transformed from the inside out with a new identity, a new purpose, a true hope.
This is what Jesus did for all humanity on the cross.
This is why there is triumph in the midst of tragedy.
We have a God who is intimate, personal, empathetic, and understands suffering. He took the sin and punishment we deserve on His shoulders and died in our place so that we could experience life.
Hope. Freedom. Abundant joy. Now and forevermore.
All we have to do is believe and obey His commands.
The truth of this redemption story fills us up to overflowing.
It’s made me think through the message I want to be sharing with you, my reader friend. And how I can encourage you on each page of a story I write.
The only way I can write stories is because of the hope found in the Greatest Story ever written. The one inspired by God, infallible, and written down as a beautiful redemptive love story filled with wisdom for life.

The Bible.

The characters I create and the adventures they embark on will pass with time. But the Word of God will never fail or be forgotten. That is what I pray you see when you read anything I write.
May you walk away with a desire to discover Jesus for yourself. To catch a glimpse of God and want more.
All for His glory,
Laura
